Thanksgiving – From Our Family to Yours
We are only one week away from Thanksgiving, our friends! We can’t believe it either! In last week’s blog, we got to talk about the importance of listening to our bodies. In this week’s blog, we want to spice it up and give you a challenge!
Opportunity to Serve at Thanksgiving
In today’s society that often asks, “What can others do for me?”… we challenge you to flip the question right side up. We want you to start asking yourself, “How can I serve others today?” There are a million of opportunities every day to serve just one person. Whether that be tipping your waiter a little extra, or paying for the car behind you, or helping an elderly woman bring groceries to her car, or putting your husband’s shoes back where they belong (without saying anything), or even picking up random trash on the ground… you have the incredible opportunity to serve someone.
The definition of a domino effect states that when you make a change to one behavior, it will activate a chain reaction and cause a shift in related behavior as well. Both our thoughts and behaviors are interconnected… so when you change one, others will also shift. We believe that once you start asking yourself, “How can I serve others today?”… every other single area of your life will begin to improve. Because serving out of a selfless heart is contagious! Pretty soon, you’ll be at work… thinking about different ways you are able to go the extra mile to help your co-workers or grow the business. Soon, you’ll be at home… just brainstorming ways of how you can serve your family. Pretty soon, you’ll be at your neighbor’s house… just doing their dishes because you see the need and immediately start to fill it.
Out-do One Another
Even as we take care of you here at Corrective Chiropractic, our goal is to always out-do one another in love, humility, and service. It is a privilege to be able to serve you, your children, your neighbors, your co-workers, and your friends. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your health journey. We really feel like you are a part of our FAMILY!
