• Spinal Decompression

Avoid Surgery – Reduce Pain – Live Better

What is Decompression ?

At Corrective Chiropractic we focus on corrective treatment and alternative non-surgical methods to relieve pain, pressure, and discomfort. This non-surgical, non-invasive therapy uses a horizontal table with a motorized traction device to gently stretch the spine and create space for to relieve pressure, retract herniated disk, and allow room for nerves to relax.

Results

Meet Steven. Steven is a 47 year old male who plays a lot of golf at his club and has dealt with lower back pain for 6 years. The pain would come and go but one day when he was picking up his son it “went out” on him. We recommended an MRI which showed a bulging disc at L4-L5 and L5-S1. The next day after the MRI Steven came in and started his decompression protocol for 12 weeks and by the end decided to get an MRI to see the results because he felt so good. His disc slowly healed up and he said his quality of life has been drastically different. He plays golf with no pain and does a lot of activities now with his family.

We will walk you through each step and explain the phases you are in as you are on the table. The therapy is non-invasive and many patients do not even feel a difference until they stand up! The appointment will last just under one hour, including the time you are receiving the decompression therapy.

Who benefits?

Everyone! Most people seeking out decompression therapy come when they are already in pain and cannot move. It is important to be proactive before you are in any discomfort as long term affects of degenerative discs, bulging disks, or nerves under pressure can lead to more serious issues later in life.
